Sustainable Digital works with three groups in Southeast Asia
Sustainable Digital was pleased to work with three organizations in southeast Asia in October and November. The work is part of the firm’s capacity-building activities for nonprofit organizations. The organizations include:
Cambodian Living Arts, Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Sustainable Digital worked with CLA’s communications team in developing a strategic communications plan, revising its branding guidelines, and managing the relaunch of its website. We also worked with the nonprofit’s development team on sharpening donor communication for US donors and evaluating new donor management software.
COPE - Centre of Medical Rehabilitation, Vientiane, Laos
Sustainable Digital introduced the group’s senior management to new project management software that will be used for coordination of operations, reporting to funders, and collaboration among staff.
Lao Friends Hospital for Children, Luang Prebang, Laos
We developed software recommendations for hospital administration, ranging from stocks management to personnel records and staff scheduling. We also provided an initial analysis of hospital ERP solutions.
While in Laos, Sustainable Digital founder Bob Lawson also gave a talk on entrepreneurship to a group of internet startups at Vientiane’s sole co-working center. It’s not Silicon Valley, but the centrally-planned economy is loosening up and the event was attended by a good-sized group of would-be internet tycoons.
